Earlier this month, Unger had the pleasure of participating in the annual International Window Cleaning Convention, held in Galveston, TX! Unger has been a proud supporter of the IWCA Organization since its inception, and as we celebrate our 60th Anniversary this year, we were excited to join our friends and colleagues in the window cleaning industry for this special event.
The week kicked off with a warm welcome at the First Timer’s Welcome Reception, sponsored by Unger. Approximately 130 first timers were welcomed to a soft opening of the show floor. Unger had the opportunity to network with first timers, gave away some awesome merch and showcased our latest window cleaning products with live demonstrations.
Teaming up once again with the International Solar Cleaning Academy, Unger collaborated with ISCA on demonstrating safe and effective methods for cleaning solar panels. ISCA conducted several education sessions on-site, emphasizing the importance of solar panel cleaning safety, and we were thrilled to support them with our solar cleaning products.
The star of the show was the young entrepreneur by the name of Oliver! Making his debut at the show, the remarkable Oliver visited the Unger booth to share his inspiring success story. At just 11 years old, he purchased his first waterfed window cleaning system second hand, and in just a matter of a few weeks made back his investment, with a profit!
Hailing from Texas, Oliver specializes in both indoor and outdoor window cleaning for residential and commercial properties. We had the pleasure of spending quality time chatting with Oliver and his parents, and we are truly excited to have met and received support from such a driven young entrepreneur. We eagerly anticipate witnessing his continued success in the future!
Unger is also proud to have supported the Unger Window Cleaner of the Year Award for the second consecutive year. Congratulations to Wellington (Índio) de Souza Rocha for earning the prestigious title of the Window Cleaner of the Year!
Índio, who emerged victorious in the Speed Clean Competition last year, garnered an overwhelming number of votes this year; we are honored to support him as the winner!
